The ‘problem’ with Leif is it’s hard to defend when you’re 50 yards up the pitch having just put a superb cross in! But yes, he can absolutely defend. The key is making sure we’re organised enough to do his defending for him when he’s up the pitch.

Agree. He's kind of in limbo in the prem. Limbo between trying to provide defensive cover and trying to create by getting forward. He often gets caught in no man's land or has games where he does one part of the above well but not the other.

Clarke seems to disturb him as he provides no cover.

Thought he did well defensively today but wasn't sharp enough in the final 3rd.

	I know that was then, but it could be again..
