2 Strikers required 19:07 - Jan 5 with 1364 viewscressi

As Hirst is made of Glass and could be back for a fortnight then out again. And Al Hamadi needs games at a lower level.

We probably do need two, but tbh decent ones that could add something appear to be so rare I’d be happy with one coming in.

Until Hirst had a ruptured hamstring I dont think he had any injury history. A severe hamstring injury will have an impact on knee mechanics, so hardly surprising he's had 2 knee injuries. He knee week may not have had any surgery but managed conservatorly, which may not have been the best option in hindsight. But I dont view him as a sick note, but I do think we have missed him badly.

Issue is if Delap stays fit he plays 70 mins at least every game.

So what (top quality) striker is going to want to come and play that. You may get one that is hungry to compete but I doubt you'll get two.

Answer may be a young hungry player for the future as I know he hurts to say but Delap almost certainly won't be here for the long haul.

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)
