I’d say we were too passive until Luongo and Taylor came on and Citeh bought the kids on.
We were fine until they scored and then had a terrible 15 minutes each side of half time.
Thankfully they have a Champions League game midweek and we’re content to see out the game.

I disagree. We should have been in their faces and aggressive from the off. We weren't that at all. The only midfielder I saw put in a tackle was Luongo. We persevere playing it out from the back, but when quality teams press us, we haven't got the skill to beat the press like we did last year. Morsy and Cajuste were so far off it today, poor old Jack Clarke can't play himself into any sort of form, Hutchinson made terrible decisions today and didn't make a single tackle, Delap was ineffective, and Johnson/Godfrey were having their ar$es handed to them by Doku and De Bruyne.
Remember though that 5 years ago we got spanked 4-1 at home to Peterborough, so it's all relative, but it shows the level we have to improve by to compete in this league, and I'm a bit worried about how we are setting up for each game. | | | |

It was also very noticeable that not a single City player rolled around on the floor clutching their face.... minimal injury time, no shythousery antics at all. There were di.ply light years better than us. No disgrace in thst result because frankly, City will be doing that to other teams from here on in |  |
