It's not just the movement off the ball.
But the passing attemps imo are the biggest differences between us and our counterparts.
We are imo Incredibly safe with our passing. There's no lofted ball for delap to try and bring down. Or a cutting drilled ball in-between 2 defenders.
It felt today our best ball player was Burgess and that's just because he found Davis occasionally with a long ball.
I do feel for delap. He's a monster. And he will score a lot of goals in his career. But he can't do it on his own he needs the ball and he needs chances. He recently only received the ball 10 times in the game. Not sure what it was today but it didn't seem alot.
We've got hutch. We've got clarke. With now got philogene. But In my opinion the biggest thing we need is a midfielder who can actually do something with the ball at his feet which isn't tricky his way round a player or passing it 5 yards to the next town player but actually spraying thst ball around. |  |

We’re having trouble linking the play. A lot of trouble. We’ve just played two very very good teams so have to bear that in mind. But Morsy and Cajuste didn’t offer any kind of forward threat. Often because there’s nobody in front of them to give it to except for Delap 40 yards in front and with a defender on him. So we go sideways, or backwards. And get pressed. And it breaks down. Repeat. |  |

We do struggle to have meaningful possession at the moment, especially when under any kind of pressure. Taylor is our best ball player and I feel he's slightly under used in terms of starts. |  |
