Manchester United Away Tickets Sales 'Profile' 10:28 - Jan 30 with 1988 views | tommcd | The Manchester United Away fixture has sold-out today (15+ Window) and looks like it will remain so, so the Ticket Sales 'Profile' for the fixture will be as below. Summary The Club announced an allocation of 3000 tickets had been provided, total seat-map count ran to 3099. The seat-map suggests 70 wheelchair + assistant spaces, 248 seats unavailable for purchase (probable breakdown; 60 for the Ballot, 188 for 'Club Allocation' or steward seating). There were 2781 seats made available for sale in 'points-based' sales windows. 1830 (65.80% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window. 574 (20.64%) seats sold in the 25+ window. 190 (6.83%) seats sold in the 20+ window. 187 (6.72%) seats sold in the 15+ window. Points of note: * This is the first fixture to reach the 15+ window since Wolves (5 sales ago). * The above is likely the result of a long-distance midweek fixture, coupled with higher than usual number of 'seats available for points-based-purchase' (by about 40-50 seats). * 30+ was still the highest selling window, but the numbers sold in that window didn't quite grow as strongly as might usually be expected based on recent trends (probably see above reasons). * The hint of downward trend in 25+ remains, but hard to know how much that's been amplified by 'midweek' reasons, vs upwards migration. * Decline in 20+ sales continues, probably a combination of 'weekday' and upwards window migration. * Reaching 15+ will have meant some members stuck on 19 points will have finally made it into 20+, so 20+ may no longer be quite as 'safe' as it was prior to this sale (supply vs demand was pretty much at parity in 20+ window of Villa sale, this may no longer be the case going forwards, especially once the Palace sale has completed). * Prediction: Trends still suggest it looks like that Crystal Palace (circa 2700 allocation, probably 2450-ish going on points-based-sale) will sell-out at 25+. Graphical Comparison: (Includes Coventry City Sales to-date as well, presented in order of sell-out date vs order of fixture date) Previous Sales 'Profiles' for reference: * Southampton - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/592381 * West Ham - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/592631 * Brentford - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/593642 * Tottenham - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/594339 * Nottingham Forest - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/595274 * Wolves - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/596205 * Arsenal - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/596469 * Fulham - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/597336 * Liverpool - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/598267 * Aston Villa - https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/600334 [Post edited 30 Jan 10:38]

What, even in the category of our most holy and loyal (*cough* most away points *cough*) supporters? Who’d have thunk it.

As has been stated previously many (if not most) of us 30+ pointers are waiting for Coventry to go lower so we can (finally) buy together to sit with friends on lower points totals given the extra allocation - a rare luxury this season. Don't read too much into this data...

Are you going to pull something special out at the end of season? Perhaps 3d bars poking up from the away grounds on a map of England on tableau...go onnnnn, you know you want to!!

ha ha ha love it, i'll remember that as the 'come back'. Like when someone says "great minds think alike" and someone else responds with "yes, but fools minds never differ"!
