Literally EVERY block in the ground has returns / ST trade-ins for Brentford.

And Leicester got all the way down to 5 points.

After a season of so many clashes about ticket availability and priority, how quickly things change!

(Not a dig at anyone, but after so long away, you’d think people would make the most of every last second of Premier League football.)

(Yes, I know, football fans be fickle, gasp!)

Everyone's after Ed tickets now instead.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

TBF, PL isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Nothing to play for for either team. I’m not surprised (will be going, but understand why some won’t).

That’s a point.. I wonder if his box is free and going cheap for Saturday.

Not a surprise at all. Football is all about jeopardy, its what makes the open and meritocratic (theoretically if you ignore the grotesque money involved) pyramid so special. Hence why demand for tickets in a pre season friendly doesn't match a big game.

The fact we're still selling out before general sale is testament to our supporters.

I suspect the same thing will happen regarding people watching Premier League games on tv as the league has been won, relegation sorted.
The only games of real interest will be those from the lower divisions where promotion and relegation isn't sorted.

Yeah I don’t disagree too much.

I was surprised Leicester went so low though, after so many complaints about availability / points throughout the season. To me, away games are always fun! And a chance to see a rare win too!

Makes you wonder if our last away game was at Old Trafford rather than the King Power whether things may have different

I do think that most of our fans have been worn-out and simply want this season to end - have a couple weeks off and then return with enthusiasm for the championship.

I know that Sky are dressing up the remaining PL season as an exciting fight for European qualification but they have to do that because it is now fundamentally boring.

The EFL playoffs should be properly exciting as were the CL knockout stages.

Think 7 in a row, 10 of the last 11, may have something to do with it. Groundhog Day at home games this year.

I was there when McKenna's ITFC won in the Premier League at Home. Our only home win in a year.

Personally I’m not spending another penny, or leaving the family for a day, to watch us away. It’s non competitive football for me and pointless.

Sacking off Brentford too, parents will take the tickets. Covering on call at work so my work mate can have a day on the piss.

When it became mathematically impossible to stay up, there was no point in going for me.

It’s impossible to get excited and cheer a goal that means nothing.

After doing both the Horse Punchers & The Toffees (A), I can confirm that I've got no interest whatsoever in doing Leicester away.

Each to their own and all that.

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

It's all relative but our last three games are perhaps the easiest three in a row all season, so I'll be at them hoping to savour at least one more win.

As a 10 away points member its given my 14 year old son a chance to go to his first Ipswich away game - and it will be in the Premier League. That might not be possible again for a long time.

One season isn’t that long - hope your son enjoys his first away match.

Put my ST's on resale as I can't go as my son has a cup final in the afternoon, from looking at things locally, so many cup finals and football festivals going on, so that's probably why there are so many tickets available.

Add in the fact that it's the dampest of squibs.

To be fair, you’d like to think we’d be competitive against Leicester…

Why is this such a surprise?

The Brentford game is a dead rubber, we're relegated and it's all over.

Playing Premier League minnows who possess the Hollywood glamour of Vera Duckworth is not exactly box office.

Admittedly, there is some jeopardy, Ipswich have never lost eight league games at home in a row.

History of a sorts is in the making, but who wants to witness that?

Yet despite one of the most wretched home seasons in memory, Town's average league attendance is the highest ever.

I'd say take a bow Town fans.

Football and sport for that matter is all about context and it meaning something.

That is why the last 2 years was so good in March, April and May as for the first time in best part of 20 years those games mattered.

Nothing worse than watching a match with nothing riding on it - I sacked off friendlies about 30 years ago for that very reason and these last few games are sadly not much more important than friendlies. I still want us to win all 3 to make the table look a bit more respectable, but I can't say I feel that high or low when I see the score and can't justify spending the time/money to go.

I know the season has fizzled out but surely fans would take every chance to see players like Delap and Enciso in a Town shirt?
