Depends how you wanna look at it in the CS we will be fine but are we building a team that we hope can manage in the PL therefore johnson and clarke prob wont be good enough, so if we are looking to build a PL ready side yes we will need one. | | | |

Clarke spent the back end of last season on loan and has had injury issues his whole time here, and Johnson has been linked with a move back to the Prem.
So it's clear why some people think we could well be in the market for one. |  |

There is a lot of noise about RB which makes you at least listen to the concerns. I understand why, Clarke played second fiddle in the run in for the champ season finale and Johnson didn’t deliver at the required level in the PL. We currently look better stocked there than last time we started in the champ as all the players are better for the last season and BJ isn’t being asked to deliver at PL level. KMcK will know best as always. | |

The reality is though that we won't have a completely Prem ready squad this season, even if we do have ambition to do so. More realistic is to be in a position where, if we get promoted, we need to add 4-5 players to the squad rather than 12. | | | |
