Two things that are currently bugging me about social media football 10:39 - Aug 29 with 209 views

1. Following signings, or ever the whiff of one, fans (of various clubs) posting, "When xxxxxx come knocking, it's a different kind of knock". If all clubs have this 'different knock' then it's not different, is it.

2. Player signing videos with the player rubbing their palms together, like they've just accidentally touched some wet paint. Literally every club does it.

That's my moan for the day. Carry on.

I miss the days of back page evening star , a simple scarf held aloft while wearing a suit in the centre circle accompanied by a punning title. 'Gayle blows in' being one of my favourites from the late 80s. God bless you Dave Allard.
