As much as the departure of the former two has been bemoaned by fans, I suppose the plus side of it is that it's shown that we won't stand in the way (too much) of young talent that's developed to such an extent that they're attracting attention from clubs further up the pyramid.

I suppose it's something worth considering, especially when the club's business model is to buy young talent to develop and sell.

Its the model for pretty much every club, I guess based mainly on Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton.

Thats one reason not to stand in the way of young players leaving, so long as the price is right.

That, and at the other end of the scale, allowing Super Samy Morsy to go for a free after his service to us, plus KMc's renowned communication with players before, during and even after their time here, shows potential signings that this club really cares about them as people as well as assets.
