United were a strange side. Decent enough in our half but very poor in their own. I'd imagine they must have feared the worst when we made changes. The strength of our bench was pretty crazy and something the rest of the division will be envious of.

My old man said at half time that we could do with someone like Magic to keep the ball moving and Nunez couldn't have done a better job with that. Then Clarke put in a great shift and Egeli showed signs of what he is about.

He seems to have gone under the radar a bit but I thought Szmodics was superb. That is probably the sharpest I've seen him for us and his movement off the ball was electric. The only downside is that he didn't tuck his one on one away.

Mr Mckenna has some very tough decisions on his hands. We seemed back to the good old days of 'Game Changers' coming on and impressing.

Last night's game was the first time this season that we made changes and we didn't suffer for it. In fact, some of the stuff we were playing, after subs were made, was scintillating. I know we were out of sight at that point, so playing with plenty of freedom. It sure was promising and reassuring, though!

It’s funny how in the space of just a few games then bench has gone from looking weak to looking strong and full of options. That’s just after a few well publicised departures. I likes the fact that Clarke came on and scored again,

It’s early days and frankly Sheffield were dreadful and continued to try and play even after going behind and we’ll face tougher challenges but the strength from the bench will be vital to change games.
