Away coach travel question 22:13 - Sep 13 with 1439 viewsrgp1

Genuine question here. Given travel to Bristol City is 46 notes for adults and the prices have jumped up from last year. Do the club make a profit on it or is it just provided as a service?

I can’t imagine they’re making much of anything. Cost of fuel alone probably accounts for that. Halesworth branch were being quoted big increases on away trips before the memberships came in.

The cost of fuel has gone down (albeit slightly) over the last year, so it's difficult to see how they can justify big increases.

My understanding was that Galloway have been bidding low to keep the contract for a number of years but the club deemed that their service record over the last few seasons didn’t warrant a renewal. Hence the contract going to Simmonds at an unfortunately increased but probably more realistic cost.
