Anyone else still been charged?

I thought that with a membership it was now free and the subscription would be cancelled?
Just seen ive been charged again this month.

Just wanted to check I hadn't gone mad an imagined that it should have been cancelled.

Sorry Sitters and OP, but this info is incorrect in that it does NOT apply to those who have been/are paying £5.99 monthly for the TownTV audio commentaries.

In the words of the email reply I’ve just received from them re getting the audio comm for free now? -

“Hi,

That is not correct. You need a Super Blues membership or TownTV Subscription to have access to that feature”.

It remains at £5.99/month, which seems quite reasonable to me.

My issue is I have that, and am still being charged the 5.99.


I have tried for over an hour to create a new SuperBlues membership, as obviously that’d be cheaper for me over 12 months, even though I can’t get to PR due to health issues.

The app is as it always has been, absolute rubbish. I was logged in, it just kept telling me to login anyway. Logged in, it told me my membership is valid till renewal on 22nd October, when it’ll be cancelled.

The attempt to purchase SuperBlues membership on website just endlessly put me in a queue for Portsmouth tickets, which is not what I wanted. That page blocked out access to anything else.

That seemed to disappear at midday, when Pompey tickets became available. After that, attempts to login, as instructed, whilst already logged in, just kept saying my password is invalid.

No option in phone menu for ‘memberships’. No-one in the office at 11.53 to take my call for option 8, ‘anything else’. Just appalling customer service really, though whoever’s on email duty is obviously doing their best.

Update: for anyone else coming up against the same problem - eventually got it sorted via a phone call to the ticket office, and speaking with the brilliant Lisa, who walked me through the process.

The issue is that such purchases are done through a THIRD website - not the Club one, not the Town TV one, but http://tickets.itfc.co.uk/ (iirc).
Which requires a separate password. Once you’re into that, it’s straightforward.

Apparently the whole wading through a treacle-filled maze to get to where you need to be for such purchases has already been raised as issue which needs addressing, and is being discussed, thankfully!
