1 Are we over coached and can't play another way if the game requires.

2 How bad is it when your two centre half's are your best players against a side who actually did nothing to threaten our goal.

'Overcoached' is a very in vouge phrase right now.

What do you mean by it Cressi?

Over coached means drilling a certain way of playing, even some times against the players own abilities to play in a certain position or style even at a risk of stifling that players natural strengths, skills or ability. As examples - see philogene on the right wing, Omari as a 10, szmodics, akpom as a 10.

I believe McKenna has now started to fall foul of having too many expensive players with not enough positions to play them in and some not as good as what he perhaps thought they were going go be based on past team performances. He is now trying to appease all of these players with giving them game time even at a risk of upsetting the balance of the team and results.

I don’t think we have the luxury of being able to rotate and the numerous 5-6 player changes per game is now standing to show with no consistency. We have an expensive group of players, I can’t say strong as not sure we are as strong as what we would have hoped after all o this money was spent.

I think we will be ok and have chance to get promoted but I honestly don’t see how any of the team fits in the mould of what is stated was needed by Ashton/mckenna to stay in the premier league so don’t quite understand half of what was purchased or why. If we get promoted again it would still need a near complete overhaul.

Maybe some of us have forgotten that we are KM's first senior managerial post. He's still learning, doesn't have the experience, a range of successful alternative strategies, to fall back on.

As with the phrase 'who judges the judge'?, who coaches the head coach?

I agree - it’s all a learning process - it’s not as easy as throwing money around which I understand - see liveroool this season, Chelsea through the whole abramovich tenure, man united - any one that has thrown billions at playing squads and actually in time regressed. I understand that but don’t understand that it was stated what was required to succeed by our own leadership team but not actually spent any money or hired any player that fits in with the player profile that was stated we needed to compete if we got promoted.
