Local lad living an absolute dream having won back to back promotions and playing a huge role in that. Okay, McKenna replaced him last season, and it’s clear amongst the fan base that people aren’t prepared to accept that O’Shea is better than him, and there’s a hangover from that. But the way in which he left really left a sour taste. You see the way Chaplin left us? Virtually spent his whole interview at Portsmouth saying how much he loved Ipswich and how much he loved McKenna. 3 days previous he had started for us. Then you see the way Woolfie handled it? Went on the offensive, claiming ‘politics’ etc. So much politics that 6 months previously he had signed a new and probably improved contract here. Just frustrating really, and really leaves a sour taste.

That's exactly how I feel - loved him as a player here, really disappointed with how he has handled it and his public comments.
