Recent days seem to bear this out because it is still dark at 7am but as you say noticeably lighter at 4pm. |  | |  |

I live in the West of the country. Sunset is 20 mins later than in Ipswich so even better. Sometimes I'm watching Town on TV and it's clearly dark at PR but still light where I am.
