Agreed. Not really fair on keeper or defenders. Plus looks awful when you miss. Thought they banned it years ago then changed their minds.

Strangely I was more annoyed when he put it away the second time. Why didn't he just do that the first time instead of faffing about?

Although of course I got over my annoyance pretty quickly!

He's started doing it occasionally the last couple of years, coinciding neatly with when he's started occasionally missing penalties...

Kane said he did it because when doing research on the keeper, he realised he came off his line a lot. (That's why he was instantly at the ref after the save). It forces the keeper to keep on his line which does make it harder for the keeper.

Although I do agree any stopping should be banned. Should be like a Rugby conversion / similar thought process (although not sure the GK should be allowed to charge the penalty taker haha).

The moment when they're almost at the ball but the keeper hasn't dived and you know the kicker is thinking "oh ****!"

It's also never a good sign when they wait for so long before starting their run-up.
