The balloons were before he played for us and his fitness looked fine then. He's clearly been a bit of a nob, his story is pretty sad though and it would be good to see him back playing consistently at a decent level. |  | | |

As for heartbreaking, it would have been really heartbreaking had he killed somebody with his car as could have done quite easily. Given it’s a sympathetic article, I still get an impression that he takes little responsibility for his own actions. He knew what he was doing and carried on.
If I was looking for a player, like the Chopras of this world, I wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole. Regardless, I hope he’s able to turn his life around, whatever the future holds for him. | | | |
