Is Diogo Leite. Left sided centre-back, 27, with Bundesliga and Portugese Premier experience. Currently free agent. Tall (6'3"), good on the ball, think would slot in nicely next to Diop.
Been linked with Leeds but I hope would consider us.

Too late now, we’ve submitted our squad so we’re stuck as we are until January.
Part of me does wish we’d deregistered somebody and left a slot open to bring in a defender on a free though.

Good shout. Possibly not the recovery speed we could benefit from based on how open we are, but would be a quality on the ball option.
Cheaper now than when you first mentioned him too. Maybe you could negotiate for a cut?
