It's not clear what her family don't approve of: her or the statue.

I was wondering (very briefly) about this earlier. Do you reckon they ever had this sort of trouble with other statues around the City.? I can't imaging the crusties turning up at the unveiling of Nelson's column and hurling insults at it.

I remember when a few put a grass mohikan on Churchill's statue a few years back at a demo. That caused a bit of a stir at the time.

Complete waste of time and money. Whether they're pro or anti nobody's going to forget Thatcher anytime soon.

The Attlee statue went up over 20 years after his death and he was a far better Prime Minister for this country.
