At this moment in time we ourselves are probably one of the worst teams in the division, simply because the players have had 5 minutes together.

There will be polarised and entrenched opinions on both sides. Some people will be more happy that we lose 1-0 with Hurst than win 1-0 with McCarthy. Others will be delighted if we go into October without a win because it justifies the pragmatism of the previous management. Both of these opinions are best ignored. It is entirely rational to be happy, excited and reinvigorated by our transfer dealings and attempts to play better stuff, whilst also filled with trepidation as to how it’s going to work out based on the worries that we’ve let a lot of unreplaced experience out of the door and that we’ve not played very well in our opening two games.

Blackburn - patchy. From everything I've been told from mates who were at Rotherham we played very well, well enough to have won let alone draw. But yes, lack of a goal poacher bothers me. Hope that will be addressed in the loan market
