The amount of garbage, aggressive baiting and general abuse on Twitter today is a clear sign that nothing is going to change, despite the hounding to death of a women in the prime of her life yesterday. When will we learn, I wonder.

Some of the comments on the 10:0... on 18:26 - Feb 16 with 1480 views | J2BLUE | There are certain posters on here and in the comments section who feed on misery and having a whinge. We won 4-1 so they couldn't get their fix yesterday. Today the women's team have provided a great back up to these idiots. They don't care if it's an incredible achievement to do what they did. One glance at the score and they can be negative. I become ever more convinced that football attracts not just football fans but all sorts of people who deal with their problems within the context of football. Whether it's screaming abuse at our own players, constantly being negative on here, joining a 'firm' or numerous other things; sometimes it seems like more of an outlet for people's idiosyncrasies than a genuine passion. They are. It's worth noting that 5% of the population have an IQ deficiency that makes learning simple concepts difficult. it's probably no coincidence that the percentage being arseholes on Twitter is close to that.
