Thankfully he’s now back home... Vet induced vomiting and he brought it all back up.
He brought quite a lot up, but by the time he’d finished being sick, it was clear liquid, so it seems the vast majority of it came back.... luckily we took him straight there before it got too far in to his body, so he should be fine now. | |

Not to trivialise your incident, hope the dog is ok, but I was led to believe it was “proper chocolate” that was an issue for dogs, not the sort you get on Easter eggs. Though that quantity in its self wouldn’t be good. Happy to be educated. |  | | |

Not to trivialise your incident, hope the dog is ok, but I was led to believe it was “proper chocolate” that was an issue for dogs, not the sort you get on Easter eggs. Though that quantity in its self wouldn’t be good. Happy to be educated. |
The stuff inside mini-eggs may only be milk chocolate, but it’s solid lumps of chocolate and he had quite a lot of them (at least 30—35 of them), and the vet got a lot out out of him, so better safe than sorry. | |
