To be fair to Amazon that's the PR almost all companies do, at least those that are very public facing.
The problem is with the media using that sort of stuff verbatim and unedited. But they'll do anything for free content. So it's not really that different for papers and TV networks being an outlet for the government and for politicians to use them as a relatively uncritical platform for delivering their narrative. |  |

Working in marketing I see it all the time, most data news pieces via business are pushed as a link building tactic to benefit SEO.
But the timing of this is so off. They can’t be that desperate to run business propaganda that contradicts the fact their staff have been dismissed for striking over conditions?
