Whilst agreeing with the overall message - that it is utterly incompetent to have a plan (however inept) for the medical bit of a pandemic but not for the economic hit - I would add that the furlough scheme was a bit of genius. So smart, that I am wondering where the idea came from ( hoping someone on here will be able to explain).
