Cat on the pitch 16:25 - Oct 30 with 636 viewsMenton

Does anyone remember a cat getting onto the pitch during the home game v Crewe either 98-99 or 99-00? The Crewe physio had long, white hair, Jimmy Savilesque and fam around after it in comedy style. I thought I had imagined this until a friend recalled it too.

We came a whisker away from automatic promotion that year.

Nope, don't remember that.

I'm fairly certain, though, that a cat ran onto the pitch during an evening home game against Watford, at the time of Graham Taylor's second spell in charge of them.

I remember a cat running on the pitch but don't remember the game, other than I am fairly sure it was an evening, which I think would rule Crewe out.

If it was the Watford match, it would have been the 3-2 where Kieron Dyer scored with a broken leg?
