Think you should offer a clue in the thread header that this is about RyanAir (just in case anyone thinks it is about Colmans...)

I don't quite understand the legalities around traveling post Thursday. Will it actually be a criminal offense to take a flight or is it just against govt guidelines?

(And people can stand down - no I am not wanting to or advocating taking holidays)

Poll: This new lockdown poll - what you reckon?

I don't think its clear either way. Even the 'announcement' banning travel only seemed to be spread by journos in the know, so it seems to be guess work. The language used is forceful enough, but I haven't seen mention of the legalities.

As for people getting peeved, I think the debate of well-being vs risk of death has become mainstream personally and rightly so, not that I have an answer personally.

Edit: just as an example of that, my close friend with Lupus was telling me the other day of her worries for her friends up north and asking how they're supposed to make a living now. She'll be isolating and obeyed the original lockdown religiously, but she's now wonderring whether it should be down to people in her shoes to look after themselves, rather than a society wide lockdown.

I don't know what the answer is, but I respect her for realising that she has a pension and income in a fairly cheap council flat so can carry on with no financial worries, whereas other younger bods are looking at sh1tcreak.
