How did Jacko do on Saturday? 11:19 - Nov 2 with 542 viewsWallingford_Boy

I saw he got booked and caught offside on the BBC text feed, but did he look lively?

I will ignore Lambert's standard "he did well" comments.

RIP Sir Bobby

He did 'OK' - he should of come on for either Sears or Edwards though - more effective wide in a front three as opposed to the central player.

Agreed. I think we’d have the makings of a properly balanced and dangerous front three with Edwards and Jackson flanking Hawkins.

I must admit, I didn’t take Lambert that seriously with his early-season assertion that Jackson was seen as the central striker. Thought that was more about talking up his value.

As a sub for Hawkins on Saturday that makes a bit of sense because he can be the danger on the break as we focus on defending the lead. So I hope that was just because of the state of the game.
