Watched the stream of this last night from the An Grianan theatre in Donegal:

Was rather good and I think a few might enjoy it. It's about a guy who went to Antarctica on 3 voyages with Scott and Shackleton.

Only 90 minutes and a tenner but a good one-man show. Two more performances from different theatres on Friday and Saturday.

I can remember reading about the Shackleton expedition years back with the really sad bit being that a number of his crew ended being killed on the western front in WW1

I didn't know about him so it was excellent to learn about his life.
