Just had a flick through Burtons team on 00:00 - Dec 15 with 874 views | Bugs | The worrying thing is most of us wouldn't see it as a major upset. I'm not alone in being pretty certain we will lose against Peterborough on top. If we do lose both games Lambert will still be our manager into the new year however bad the performances and results. Fuking depressing.

Just had a flick through Burtons team on 00:54 - Dec 15 with 808 views | eddiespearitt03 | The hopeful result v Burton is that we bore them into thinking their grabbing a 0-0 draw and we get a last minute fluke winner off a gust of wind and a seagull deflection. The likely result could be a bore draw if we don,t get over the half way line often enough. Against Peterborough i have a suggestion for Paul Lambert. IF we are losing convincingly i think he should sneak out at half time to the pub across the road and get totally cakeholed !!! So when he has to face the Brenner Woolley interview he can slur the words "I,m really really happy" and we can all believe him. Happy Days. If we do manage 6 points off Burton & Peterborough. At the next home game, 3 hours before kick-off, the lucky 2000 supporters should all buy Lambert a pint this time..Then sing "For he,s a jolly good fellow......and so say all of us" [Post edited 15 Dec 2020 1:01]

They have 4 good players Burton - Vernam, Powell, Akins, Ennis, all good footballer in their own right, the rest a much of muchness, but they’ll still beat us. It doesn’t matter if we lose every game from now until Jan 1st, Feb 1st, March 1st etc, Evans will not pay up such a long contract.

We can’t defend or score in the 4-3-3 system We are exposed in wide positions and all the teams are Scoring similar goals against us. We haven’t looked like scoring since Edwards got injured

Too many big players are missing for us, having said that, Lambert can’t coach, so it’s irrelevant who is fit. But KVY, Woolfenden, Bishop, Downes, Edwards, Norwood should be the core of a really good L1 side, if we had a good coach. But as you said, we can’t defend and we can’t attack, which poses the question what do we actually do on the pitch for 90 bloody minutes.
