There have been glimpses under Lambert of quick, neat, counter-attacking football, e.g. the Downes goal v Shrewsbury, but it is so few and far between to be almost non-existent. We have relied an awful lot on the likes of Teddy and Gwion to open up defences, but swift, forward passing is so seldom in our repertoire that the opposition can throw their players forward without worry of a counter from us.
