Training Week - What would you do? 20:06 - Mar 21 with 687 viewschrismakin

Assuming the following is close to a potential schedule
Monday, Tues full days training, Wed half day training, Thurs light training, Friday off,

For me
Monday - Classroom AM, Whiteboard, Videos, Markers etc etc, PM - Work on what you've seen
Tuesday full day outside training on everything again
Wednesday, PM everything outside again
Thurs, light runs, get ready for sat

Repeat Next week

Yep, you are right I saw the Rochdale one but that is the following week and it's Monday but apart from that I was right.

Yeah, didn't realise we had a friday-monday combo

although, that does still give us a good maybe 6 training sessions inbetween 2 games which is nice.

It’s about repetition, repetition, repetition of the pattern of play, Cook wants to see and the concept of moving the ball about far more quickly snd getting it forward much earlier ( a theme shown in first half v Pompey) . Some fitness work. , but it’s late in the season for much of that to be the main focus now.

Cook is also , constantly assessing this squad to see who to keep and who to ditch. It’s a pity a lot of them don’t appear to be picking up on the fact they’re playing for their jobs at ITFC now .
