I know Mark Ashton officially does not start as CEO until 1st June but surely he has been in contact with Cook and the owners about possible signings. I just think he will have his targets and will be sounding out players he thinks will come to Ipswich.

Andy and Stu suggested the other day on their pod that he's very much involved at Town already.

If his number two is coming with him I wouldn't be surprised if he's getting him to finalise a few things in Bristol whilst Ashton is on the phone to agents for us already.

I think MOL said he's going to be involved until Ashton takes the reigns and then it will be down to a couple of days a week so I think we've definitely got someone working on signings.
