Have to say though that the skills shown by those England players, their comfort on the ball, their eyes for some of those cross-field & through passes, were absolute things of beauty, I hope our players are inspired by them.
Around about the 25 min mark, a couple of our players on the left wing were in possession but surrpunded by (I think 3) blue shirts in very close attendance.. The way they neatly managed to pass their way out of the maze of 6 Italian legs by trickery & skills was just a-maze-ing (sorry ;/ ). |  |

Right now I don't give a stuff about us. It will wear off but the penalty shoot out defeat has unreasonably, if anything, dragged up all the ill feeling of the end of last season.
I'll get through it but, yay, we're going to be playing Morecambe. |  |
