There are also a lot of clubs without money, so I did think the free agent market would be alot quicker than it has been tbh. | |

I think the fact that you've got the Euros and the Copa going on at the same time means that purchases at the top of the food chain are not going through as quickly as they might in a tournament-free Summer, which then slows things down for Championship clubs looking to sign unwanted Prem players, League 1 clubs wanting to sign unwanted Championship players and so on.
Add to that the financial difficulties being faced by a number of clubs and you've got all the makings of a slow, drawn-out Summer of transfer sagas. I'm not worried but I get why people are anxious, there are valid reasons to be concerned but I'm just waiting to see where we are at the start of the season before I get too bent out of shape. |  |
