So LFC will just this week be using "safe seating" as opposed to safe standing.

Presume this is because safe standing is yet to be fully legalised? It will come imho and can see nothing stopping Ipswich from doing something similar should they wish.

It may need council approval as it is officially about making seating safer as I understand it.

The club are applying for it I understand. But this will come under 'major renovations' on the list that is on O'Leary and Ashton's desks.

Doubt it'll happen for a couple of years.
