John Lydon at the Apex on Saturday evening. Anyone else on here going. Looking forward to hearing what he has to say.........will the ageing punk still be Mr Angry or has he mellowed somewhat.
We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub.

£75 Super VIP tickets includes a meet and greet. Doesn’t get anymore punk than that.
I refer you back to the Rudimentary Peni track from perhaps the best punk album ever made.
Have you realised that rock stars Always seem to lie so much? John Lydon once said he cared But he never really gave a f#ck Said he'd use the money he made So that people would have somewhere to go But now he lives in the USA And snorts coke after the show
Why is it that rock stars Always seem to lie so much? Joe Strummer once said he cared But he never really gave a f#ck Said he'd use the money he made To set up a radio station To make the airwaves full of something more than sh!t Have you noticed we're still waiting?
You must realise that rock stars Always seem to lie so much Some will always tell you that they care But they don't really give a f#ck Still you suckers don't ever learn That rock stars deal in money not truth It's good business to exploit you Just look at Lydon or Strummer for proof

He's a butter promoting Brexiter
Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?
I saw PIL a few years back at Finsbury Park backing up?? The Roses I think. They weren't on the best of form.
“Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated ?”. Frankly, yes. One and half hours of mainly contrived tedium, virtually no interesting insight into his punk days and a full 15 minutes or so of saying “you fu***** c***” at every opportunity. A “goodie bag” containing a small laminated copy of his book cover, said book on sale for a whopping £50 for a signed copy * and then finishing off the night with a rendition of ABBA’s Fernando “Because Sid loved it “. Never mind the b0llocks John, it was utter b0llocks.
At least the Town won.
*I didn’t buy a copy.
