Firstly, ticket prices generally are a joke everywhere, but £13.50 for a child ticket up in the Gods is a bit rich, isn't it?

Or am I just woefully out of touch?

Equivalent seat at PR is £7.

Football needs to hurry up, eat itself and die.

100%

I long for the day that all clubs go bust and it all resets. Wages should be £1000 a week for the best global players and everyone else filtering in behind.

Football is dead.

I was tempted, but a quick look on trainline a few weeks back had train tickets around £110 from London...or like £20 for an 8/9 hour coach

how do people afford train tickets in this country ffs

I'd have to take that train, hate using a coach.

Driving up there for me. Not as bad as it seems and the A1 is a cracking road as you can pull off to a country lane as and when you need to drop the kids off or whatever.

Blast all the way to Scotch Corner for a breakfast and its not far from there.

I'm hitting the same on my end - getting the kid after school and we're just going to smash it up there, stay with some of the extended famalam and make a day of it on the Saturday..

Long old drive home if we don't get a result though! Might be a test for my young'un!

I'm going up for it. Loads of beers, stay the night and then blast up Great Shunner Fell on the Sunday.

I know that was then, but it could be again..
