We weren’t great, weren’t terrible. Created chances, missed too many. Gave away a Sunday league goal. Couldn’t dig ourselves out of the hole unlike last week.
Not much else to say really except if we keep on gifting goals it’s going to be a long old season and the scouse mafia will be heading back to merseyside looking for new employment. And we’ll be picking up the pieces yet again.

It's a difficult division. It's still horrid to see us in it. But there are 5 or 6 clubs who should be fighting for that promotion then a group of battlers hoping to sneak a play off place.

It was a very even game, which might bode well for the rest of the campaign. Obviously, we could well and maybe should have got more based on the chances we didn't take.
I still have very little faith in Cook's 2nd half subs though - I don't see us making top 2 without some serious dips in form from those in the pack. I do think we will make top 6 though. | |

I suspect the league table may well say at the end of the season that for a League 1 team we weren't great, weren't terrible. Much like it did last season and the season before. I think there are some who are happy with that, possibly because MM and Evans are no longer around. Personally, I think it's a disgraceful waste of millions of pounds. |  | | |
