Usually when we sack a manager 20:02 - Dec 4 with 460 viewsgtsb1966

The supporters are in unison that it is the correct decision. We are in uncharted waters this time and it seems strange.

That's because this club has a history of letting a managerial reign die a long lingering death.

This is the first time in our history that we have been ruthless, proper ruthless.

Most who are unhappy seem to be basing it on some misty eyed "that's not Ipswich" BS or on hope rather than expectation.

Not saying other opinions aren't valid but i'm yet to hear a convincing argument based on what people were seeing on the pitch.

Truly impaired.

I agree 100% and wanted a change. I sincerely hope we get a better coaching team.

I wanted to give him longer as I really liked him, respected his pedigree and admired the way he wanted the team to play. But I can't say it has come as a huge shock - and he would probably be the first to acknowledge that his tenure hasn't lived up to expectations. Some of the recent results/performances have been totally underwhelming.
