On first viewing I didn’t think Harper helped him out much though, either through lack of foresight or lack of desire. He didn’t react to put any pressure on the Col U player after the error was made.

Hladky looked very dodgy a couple of times last night when he came out of the box. It was by virtue of good fortune that he didn't lose the game for us at the end. I really can't say there is much between him, holy or cornell.

I’d sell him in January window and go and get the Col U keeper. Much better

Do you mean George, or Turner?

To me, Jake Turner looks really good. He was outstanding for Morecambe in the first half of last season, and was then recalled by Newcastle. On loan at Colchester till January. I guess he might stay if, as strongly rumoured, George gets sold for (reasonably) big bucks. If George stays, I guess Turner will go out on loan again. He also always seems like a really positive character, always entertaining the crowd at half-time with his footballing skills. (His kicking was exceptional last night, when he found Noublé time and again.) By contrast, a very low-key return by Gerken last night. Not sure he even went on the pitch to warm up at half time. The bloke seems semi-retired to me (and fair enough!)
