The goal conceded is one of those things, but alarming how we ended up in much the same rut as we found ourselves against Oxford - unable to break down a decent defence and getting increasingly ragged as we fail to do so. [Post edited 20 Nov 2021 17:18]

The Wycombe game looked like a springboard, we've not impressed since then. It's worrying. At some point the season needs to genuinely catch light, but so far it's just been a series of false dawns. For all the talk of getting progressively better, we're 9th in the form table after today and losing ground on the majority of sides above us. If a few of the sides in the top 8 win their games in hand we'll be miles adrift coming up to midway through the season. Not good enough really given the squad we've assembled, we should be better than this. |  |
