The only thing positive after that is our Goal Difference innit 21:45 - Nov 23 with 398 viewsMullet

6-6-7

That’s more defeats than any other result this season. We are nearly as close to relegation as we are 6th right now. They had their sub keeper in and we did nothing to test him. Our best players barely saw the ball or gave it away too often.

We’ve got no fight and no desire when it goes against us. No goals coming either now. That’s not all stuff unique to tonight either, it’s been evident all season when teams test us.

Booed off at home. That’s a significant change isn’t it?

Miserable.

8 points off both the top 6 and the relegation zone. However, three sides in each have games in hand over us to either narrow or widen that 8 point gap. What a time to be a Town fan.

Despite what some fans think, we all knew we wouldn't be pissing the league from day 1 but I don't think being vaguely competetive was really asking too much. This is a new low in many ways, bottom half of the third division after 19 games with an expensively assembled squad. Just so depressing. All that talk about how we'd do better against the better sides is looking pretty hollow. Three defeats and just 4 points from this run of 5 games. Season is going to fizzle out very soon at this rate.

It's all gone Paul Jewell - bunch of players chucked together who can occasionally pull something ridiculous out of nowhere but when they work out how to do something right, everyone else works out how to stop it and we strop about looking miserable as the rest of the division passes us by.

Shameful that it's got to this point so relatively quickly.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Your reference to the relegation zone is a fair one.

Brenner referred to the bottom three today, as if that was the relegation. Someone whose profession is to commentate and comment on ITFC is so presumptious as to our status that he can't even be bothered to see that there are four relegation spots. I think we need to start realising that, and fast.

Shrewsbury are 8 points off us with a game in hand. Fleetwood are 10 points off us with 2 games in hand. Now, I don't think we'll go down, but why on earth is it just assumed that we have more chance of going up?!

The reason for that is he changes the three behind the striker constantly, but doesn’t seem to do it by form or fitness.

I’ve got no issue with rotation if there’s a clear need or tactical exploitation to make, but we’ve got to another Paul who can’t make it work here, and they keep getting more and more expensive.
