Let's face it we will not go up this year 09:12 - Nov 24 with 454 views | nodge_blue | But let's not crush the spirit and generally better feeling about going to the football. It's a precious thing easily killed off. Whilst the players and staff influence that hugely we should to some degree suck it up a bit this year. The place was dead before and we will make it dead again if we as fans go too negative. I think the new owners will keep investing and hopefully we are on a upwards curve, albeit a slow one. The side isn't right. I've said before our front three are a bit physically light weight. And defensively we still look like we need a couple of bodies. Plus we don't play with much conviction against some of the better sides. Cook has to take some blame here. And sadly the deja vu factor doesn't help us as a fan base. We do absolutely need to see top 10 this year and credible promotion candidate s next.

Let's face it we will not go up this year on 09:47 - Nov 24 with 393 views | Radlett_blue | How do you expect the fan base to react if there are more performances & results like last nights? That was as bad as the worst of the Lambert years & Cook has had a free hand to recruit players good enough for Town to be in the top 6 as a minimum requirement. Not sure what excuses he has now. And it's not just about last night. One win from the run of 5 games against top half sides has realistically shown where Town are right now - a long way short even of the play offs. If you were the owner, would you give Cook, who wasn't your appointment, more money to spend in January? Or would you cross your fingers & hope things improve?
