I don't think the players we have recruited necessarily as good as the hype machine made out. Bonne has contributed the most over the season, and he belongs to QPR. Edmondson was a good recruit, the umpteen midfielder players though, absolutely awful and as for Captain "season starts now" he's awful. |  |

It's weird isn't it. These are genuinely good players, some that were considered good enough for Championship sides just last season and others ones that other L1 teams genuinely didn't want to lose. They aren't the usual cheap buys plagued by injury or here for one last payday before they finish their career that we have become used to in recent years. This is a really high quality squad for this level. Yet as you say, we look absolutely terrible.
Obviously we can't expect McGreal to sort out what the problem is just a day into the job, but whoever comes in has to get to the root of the issue(s) ASAP and sort them out, because if you get it right with this team we get promoted, even this season, albeit it is obviously going to have to come via the play-offs. What an absolute balls-up we've made of the great opportunity we had this season. |  |

Lack of organisation. It's been the problem all season and remains so. Sprinkle in some not doing the basics right, no desire and an obvious lack of confidence and it's a bit of a perfect storm. |  |
