Didn’t like his performance for one minute at Charlton - as I wrote in one of my previous threads.
However, credit where credit’s due though, I thought he was really good against Wigan and Sunderland. Much better into tackles, much more energy and desire and playing like a captain for this football club. Need another 24 of those performances to finish the season.
Head looks like it’s back in the game again.

We need another player of that ilk in January and a big centre back too
Bonne seems to be doing his best not to be recalled now. Do we have a recall on Simpson or is he at Swindon for the season?

People went overboard on the back of a poor performance at Charlton with him.
He’s been largely good for us, he’s exactly what you need in CM, and he comes across as a very good leader.
Need to find him a partner in there, think El Mizouni would be a good balanced partner for him. |  | | |
