Is he right? 07:26 - Jan 6 with 1067 viewsVic

From Lee Evans interview: “To be totally honest, I’m not too concerned about [covid]. It’s more something for the older generation and for us it’s just about getting on with our job.”

If he means in terms of seriousness of mortality rates, then he’s right, but if he means in terms of getting infected then I’m not sure he understands what’s been happening in the last few months. Currently it’s circulating among his generation and the measures in place are to stop it going to the older generation who will be affected more. I think it’s something for us all to work together on.

He's a footballer, not a virologist.

I think it depends on what the question asked was. He might just have been asked if he was nervous about playing football when the COVID cases are so high.

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!
