Cheltenham had a game plan …. 22:06 - Feb 22 with 1041 views | ArnieM | And stick to it. They were more than happy to sit back and let’s us have our possession…they made no attempts to close us down, press us. Second half different story . They pushed up , got bodies in and around our box , and looked to nick a goal . It do nearly worked. Thompson gave us ZERO attacking threat alongside Celina . Time and again Celina got forward and was WAITING for Thompson to do the overlap / nothing ! We missed Evans a lot tonight and I’d have had Aluko on for Chaplin early second half . We needed far more guile in and around their box . Celina couldn’t do it all. I’d also have had Bonne on sooner to pressure then in the box . But hey ho … it’s a point . We were never going to win th all snd it’s often much harder against dudes looking to just get a point / which is what Cheltenham have done most of this season against teams .

Cheltenham had a game plan …. on 22:08 - Feb 22 with 1000 views | FrimleyBlue | Sorry Arnie, Bonne did nothing at all, so not sure coming on earlier would have actually made a difference tbh Celina was our best player Thompson put in more crosses than Burns managed Apart from that your spot on ;) Although I would agree on aluko for chaplin, he annoyed me all game

I thought Thompson mostly passed the ball infield … wasn’t impressed with him tbh … Bonne, maybe he’d have done better with more minutes . It’s not easy making an impact so late in the game is it .. Still a way to go in the season with twists n turns I think …keep the faith 👠

I thought Celina was dreadful. We signed him expecting much more than that. Didn’t know why Carroll got the nod over Bakinson at kick off and was even more confused come the final whistle. If Bonne was to come on it should have been Chaplin, who was having a very poor game, rather than Jackson.

I can only presume jackson was fked, I though it played into their hands taking him off, allowed them to defend higher. Celina, im usually one of his biggest critics, but i found he kept it neat and tidy, just didn't have people reading the game as good as he did and they ran in the wrong spaces. 2nd half i agree he went off the boil but was being brought deeper and deeper esp when jackson went off, Caroll, I don't see it what KM see's with him personally, it's interesting how he got the nod ahead of Bakinson.

Cheltenham had a game plan …. on 23:05 - Feb 22 with 750 views | jayessess | 9 times out of 10 Cheltenham lose a game that unfolds like that though, so not a very good game plan. We were very profligate. Then, because we'd been profligate and time was marching on, we got more ragged. It won't cost us too much if we keep that same first half level for our next couple of games and come out with 6 points.

Cheltenham had a game plan …. on 23:33 - Feb 22 with 670 views | Stewart27 | Cheltenham’s game plan worked. But they were absolutely horrendous. We’ve sunk very low to be in this league. Their goalkeeper at the end fist pumping is embarrassing. They’re not going down so why not try and win a game of football? The sooner we get out of this god damn league, the better. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Interesting, can you give us the number of crosses by Burns and by Thompson please.
