Tour of twitter 18:36 - Mar 3 with 694 views | Pendejo | Was offered as a trending item "Istandwithputin", reviewed and now understand why it's called TWITter. There's some real hate towards Europe, UK and USA there. Much is possibly we'll deserved but worrying that they see Putin as the answer. "Funniest" thing I saw was a list of conflicts attributed to USA which includes "Yugoslavia 1999 ," funny that they interfered in a country that ceased to exist 7 years before.

I see Twitter as something like a sewer, and when a particularly big turd gets stuck in a sewer you get a big build of sh!t-stinking waste water behind it until the turd pops clear and everything quietens down again. Dunno what that all means really, but it seemed like a nice analogy (anal loggy) when I started typing it.

Indeed. The bot armies have been in overdrive lately. So long as you follow the right people, and are quick to block idiots, Twitter is a great medium for news and opinion.

It’s fascinating how information technology is being used for the worst intentions and the best. Listening to recordings from the people inside bunkers under Kyiv is quite sobering. We’ve got a window into their suffering that we’ve never had before, yet it’s bittersweet as so many of the stories are about the good sides of human nature. 5 Live carried a great interview with someone who was playing the piano in their cellar/bunker to relax and distract the other people in there with him - you could hear the background chatter and it sounded so normal. And then there’s the video of the locals feeding a shivering and distraught young Russian soldier- so emotive and powerful. We’re getting amazing records that historians of previous conflicts would give their high teeth for. And that’s just the social dimension before we think about the role of cyber terrorism and counter measures. [Post edited 3 Mar 2022 20:54]
