David Warburton MP has been suspended over allegations of cocaine use - he bragged of losing 6 stone in a year.....correction, hmmm

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/apr/02/tories-suspend-david-warburton-

Another on trial

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/imran-ahmad-khan-teen-e2-80-98sexually-ass

Charlie Elphicke, Adam Afriyie, Rehman, Chishti, Robert Jenrick, Owen Paterson - sleaze compounded by the incompetence of Patel, Hancock, Rabb, Williamson and this week Sunak

It has all the features of Majors disastrous government. Only there Major was pretty much innocent (except for his passion for Curry) of it all, where this time the gormless gutbucket is leading by example.

However, here's something to help the bloater - https://www.pickfords.co.uk/

And sexual harassment.

"The Sunday Times reported that three women have complained about Mr Warburton's conduct.
The newspaper also reported allegations that Mr Warburton had taken cocaine, and that he had failed to declare a £100,000 loan - taken out in 2017, and since repaid - from a Russian businessman."

What the hell is it with our politicians and the love of Russian money? How many more times is this going to crop up?

As for the Khan accusation, "The court heard that the complainant was a Labour supporter,".

Yes, because that he is now a 29 year old adult Labour supporter would have been significant when he first reported the incident as a 15 year old kid.

That tHe money comes from Russia is no more Than it being Putin, with an interest in breaking up the EU. Witness it's coordinated response to the attack on Ukraine.

Which then throw up the question, knave or fool. In many cases (Farage) it is a case of an enemy of an enemy is my friend, much as with Blubba the Gut who saw Russian money as a means to power. For others it was simply greed, something hardly unknown inside of the Tory Party.

Those simple minded voters who subscribed ti the belief that the bigger the loaf you allow your 'betters' the more crumbs fall from the table are now seeing the reality of that delusion. Levelling up is already over, as it is being scaled back or simply dropped.

Helping those most in need has also suffered another blow with the announcement

"Almost 300,000 disabled people are losing government help to cut their fuel costs just as bills rocket to record levels"

https://www.independent.co, but .uk/news/uk/politics/fuel-bills-disabled-warm-homes-discount-b2049631.html

Actions like the above are not an aberration, but a manifestation of how these people regard those they deem 'lesser' than them. A contempt that has at it's head a man (Blubba) who "feels neither genuine shame nor sincere remorse for the rampant lockdown-busting in Downing Street ". Much as with the 'drinks party" jokes told to fellow Tories a few days ago in a plush Hotel - while relatives of those protested outside.

This might be forgiven were Blubba to be a good PM, even one with some degree of competence. But no. He stumbles from one u-turn to another, one failure to the next. The old ploy of ruffling his hair and pulling out his short has worn thin (much as his dyed fringe has).

Stripped of those part trucks we are left with the shyster who has nothing to offer but lies, and a long list of COVID deaths. Shunned by EU leaders, he now faces the certainty of being the only UK PM guilty of a committing a criminal offence when in office.

He maybe an asset to the opposition with his face being plastered all over their local election leaflets (non existent in Tory material, but they have the two edged sword of knowing that whilst he is boosting their ratings he is also emptying voters pockets at an alarming rate.

Blubba will go, but it will take a long while before the country will recover from his disasterous time in Downing Street.

Missed this thread.

As always they take from the easy pickings, those at the bottom of the pile who have the smallest chance of defending themselves, as the advisory groups who were able to support people with advice about their rights have had their funding removed too.

Bit by bit they still chip away at the most vulnerable, the most defenceless.

And the relative pennies these moves will save will make no difference to the country's bank balance, but will make all the difference to the individuals affected.

The saddest thing here is it stopped being surprising a long time ago.

And that those unaffected won't really care enough to speak up.

Yeah, they're corrupt, into dodgy practices, love a bit of Russian cash, willfully break the law, take us all for mugs, lie and break manifesto pledge relentlessly, have caused severe damage to the UK economy, indirectly kill people through their vile policies and incompetence and don't give a feck about you or me.

I still don't understand why so many people refuse to see it.

All too reminiscent of the story of the frog and the scorpion crossing the river (look it up).

You will not change how they see the world. Thatchers removal of free school meals was carried out under the view that kids were getting 'something for nothing', rather than it being an investment in the future, as part of a system producing a healthier workforce.

The disabled are seen, in the callous world of the Tory, as being useless mouths (we have seen previously where Tory thinking on this leads to.

They have a long record of attracting (not making) odious women politicians, Thatcher, Currie, Gorman, Dorries, Widdecombe, Patel. Women who seem to have a flawed mindset. Who see others less fortunate/able as not someone to be helped, but someone to be exploited.

From those who have little, it shall be taken. Let's close the foodbanks lest it encourages folk to be poor, seems to be the thought. And this is being done in the name of those who voted Tory last time. Maybe you.

Will you speak out, or just be grateful that it is not you this time ?

Harry, unfortunately this is one of your responses that doesn't exactly fit the post you're replying to.

I have read the article so don't need another link. It's the article I am referring to. My stance on the past several years would already tell you my disgust and that I obviously did not vote for these cretins.

I'm not sure what it is you see when you read people's posts sometimes.

As for speaking out, I have been actively doing that for a very long time now.

I am 55 years old and do not need to look up a story we all learned as children. Thanks.

eh ?

I'm not sure while you felt this was addressed to you, it certainly wasn't - and I consider your post before this one excellent, hence my upvoting it

It was merely taking the thought a bit further, and also recognising that not all folk read the thread through, thus the need to re-post the link.

Apologies for the cross wires, and any suggestion that you have ever voted Tory etc, or shared the same mindset.
