68k! Great stuff. Presumably that shows the value of the BBC pushing women’s football (and other sports in general). There’ve been a few raised eyebrows at their approach, but it’s only a matter of perspective and habit. The more exposure they get, the more people will normalise watching it.

On the few occasions the cameras turned to the crowd, it did seem (to me) like there was an ovrload of shchollchildren, again. I could. of course, be terribly wrong/blind.

Crowd at Brighton tonight was mostly families, mix around two thirds female to male. Surprisingly few males aged under 25; even family groups seemed mostly to have only daughters with them.
